WARRANTY POLICY
1. ABOUT THIS POLICY
2. WARRANTY PERIOD
Unless a different warranty period is expressly stated on the applicable product page or required by law, eligible Minvio products are covered by a six-month limited warranty beginning on the recorded delivery date.
The warranty applies only to successfully completed orders purchased directly through the Minvio website and only to the original purchaser or the person who received the product as a gift from the original purchaser. Proof of purchase is required. An order confirmation, order number, payment record, or warranty card supplied with the product may be used to verify eligibility.
This commercial warranty is provided in addition to, and does not replace, mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
3. WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS
Subject to verification, this warranty covers material defects caused by manufacturing, materials, or printing that arise during normal and intended use, including:
• substantial peeling, separation, cracking, or structural failure caused by a manufacturing defect;
• material fading, smudging, or loss of printed detail caused by a verified printing defect rather than normal wear or environmental exposure;
• a product that materially fails to fit the phone model confirmed in the accepted order because Minvio manufactured or supplied the product incorrectly; or
• another defect that Minvio confirms is attributable to our production process or materials.
The existence of a defect and the appropriate remedy will be determined after reviewing the order information, evidence, product condition, and any inspection reasonably required.
4. WHAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
Unless required by applicable law, this warranty does not cover:
• normal wear and tear, minor scratches, scuffs, gradual fading, yellowing, or discoloration from ordinary use;
• damage caused by drops, impact, crushing, bending, abrasion, misuse, neglect, improper installation or removal, or failure to follow care instructions;
• exposure to liquids, chemicals, cosmetics, adhesives, excessive heat, open flame, prolonged sunlight, or other unsuitable conditions;
• damage caused by a third party, an animal, an accident, unauthorized repair, alteration, cutting, painting, or modification;
• loss, theft, or cosmetic deterioration that does not materially affect ordinary use;
• damage to a phone, screen, camera, electronic device, accessories, data, or other property;
• products not purchased directly through Minvio, products that cannot be verified, or claims made outside the warranty period;
• clearance, sample, or “as-is” products where a disclosed condition was accepted before purchase, except for undisclosed defects or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded; or
• any other issue not caused by a defect in Minvio’s materials, printing, or manufacturing.
5. PERSONALIZATION AND REASONABLE VARIATIONS
The warranty does not cover errors in names, spelling, dates, text, images, device models, product types, sizes, colors, quantities, or other options submitted or approved by the customer.
It also does not cover poor results caused by a customer-supplied image that is low-resolution, blurred, dark, cropped, compressed, or otherwise unsuitable where the issue was reasonably apparent in the preview or resulted from the source file.
Minor differences in color, crop, print placement, measurements, texture, or appearance may occur because of screen settings, product materials, printing processes, and reasonable manufacturing tolerances. Such minor differences are not defects unless they make the product materially different from the accepted order or unfit for its ordinary purpose.
6. DELIVERY ISSUES AND WARRANTY CLAIMS
A manufacturing or printing defect that was not reasonably discoverable during the initial seven-day period may still be reported during the applicable six-month warranty period. Submit the claim promptly after discovering the issue and stop using the product if continued use may worsen the damage or create a safety risk.
7. HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM
• your order number and proof of purchase;
• the purchaser’s name and email address;
• a clear description of the defect, when it was first noticed, and how the product was being used;
• clear photographs or video showing the entire product, the claimed defect, and the phone model or fit where relevant;
• the warranty card, if one was supplied and remains available; and
• any additional information reasonably needed to assess the claim.
Failure to provide requested information may delay the review. A missing physical warranty card will not by itself invalidate a claim if the order and warranty eligibility can otherwise be reliably verified, subject to applicable law.
8. REVIEW AND VERIFICATION
We will normally review a complete claim within 5 business days after receiving all reasonably required information. Complex cases, high order volumes, public holidays, or the need for technical inspection may require additional time, and we will provide an update where reasonably possible.
We may request additional photographs or video, compare the product with the accepted personalization and production records, ask troubleshooting questions, or require the product to be returned for inspection. Submitting a claim or returning a product does not automatically confirm warranty approval.
Do not send a product back until Minvio has approved the return and provided written instructions. Products sent to an unauthorized address may be delayed, refused, lost, or returned to the sender.
9. WARRANTY REMEDY
If Minvio confirms a covered manufacturing, material, or printing defect, our standard commercial warranty remedy is a one-for-one replacement or reprint of the same product type, using the product model and personalization details from the accepted original order.
A warranty remedy applies only to the affected product or affected part of an order. It does not create an entitlement to replace unaffected items in the same order.
10. REPLACEMENT AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES
If the original product is discontinued or unavailable, we may offer a reasonably comparable product of similar value or another appropriate remedy. We will explain any material substitution before production.
A warranty replacement is intended to correct a covered defect and will normally reproduce the accepted original order. A customer-requested change to the design, text, image, phone model, product type, color, size, or other option may be treated as a new order and may require additional payment.
11. RETURN AND SHIPPING COSTS
If Minvio requires a return for an approved or potentially valid warranty claim, we will provide return instructions. Where the claim is confirmed as covered, Minvio will bear reasonable return-shipping costs and the standard shipping cost of sending the warranty replacement.
Do not purchase a return service without our written approval. Reimbursement may be limited to the reasonable cost of the shipping method we instructed or approved.
If inspection shows that the product is not covered by this warranty, the customer may be responsible for return or reshipment costs to the extent permitted by law. Customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and other destination charges may apply to international shipments unless prohibited by law or expressly covered by Minvio in writing.
12. WARRANTY PERIOD FOR A REPLACEMENT
Unless a longer period is required by applicable law or expressly confirmed by Minvio in writing, a replacement or reprinted product remains covered for the unexpired portion of the original warranty period. A replacement does not automatically restart a new six-month warranty period.
This does not limit any separate mandatory warranty or remedy that may apply to the replacement product under applicable law.
13. PHONE AND DEVICE PROTECTION
A phone case may help reduce the risk of damage in some circumstances, but no case can guarantee that a phone or other device will not be damaged. This warranty covers the eligible Minvio product itself and is not an insurance policy for your phone, device, accessories, data, or other property.
To the extent permitted by law, Minvio is not responsible under this commercial warranty for damage to a phone or other property resulting from impact, liquid, misuse, improper installation or removal, or circumstances unrelated to a proven defect in the Minvio product. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. GEOGRAPHIC SCOPE
This warranty is available to eligible customers in the Philippines and in other destinations to which Minvio sells and ships, subject to product availability, local service limitations, and applicable law.
For an international claim, the available return method or replacement route may vary by destination. We will provide reasonable instructions after reviewing the claim. Nothing in this section reduces mandatory consumer rights applicable in the customer’s location.
15. FRAUD, ABUSE, AND DUPLICATE RECOVERY
Minvio may refuse a claim where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, deliberate damage, material misrepresentation, altered evidence, repeated abuse of the warranty process, or an attempt to obtain more than one remedy for the same loss, subject to applicable law.
If a customer receives both a warranty remedy and a chargeback, payment reversal, insurance payment, carrier compensation, or other reimbursement for the same loss, Minvio may recover or offset the duplicated amount to the extent permitted by law.
16. MANDATORY CONSUMER RIGHTS
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or replaces any warranty, guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under consumer laws applicable to you, including applicable consumer protections in the Philippines. If this Policy provides less protection than mandatory applicable law, that law will prevail.
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, a consumer may be entitled to repair, replacement, refund, or another remedy for a defective product even if a particular limitation or exclusion in this commercial warranty would otherwise apply.
17. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to our products, operations, service procedures, or legal obligations. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
Changes will not retroactively reduce warranty rights relating to an order already accepted, except where required by law. The version in effect when the order was accepted will generally apply to that order.
